Client Responsibilities

Website Content: You’ll need to provide your own text, images, videos, and logos. Don’t worry — we’ll guide you on what’s needed and when.

Domain Name: You are responsible for registering and maintaining your domain (e.g., yourbusiness.com). We’ll help connect it to your website.

Platform Subscription: Your Wix or Shopify plan is billed directly to you by the provider — we’ll help you choose the right one.

Once their payment is confirmed, we’ll send you $100 via PayID, PayPal, or a digital voucher — whichever you prefer.

  • 1. What is the minimum commitment for your subscription plans?
    All of our plans have a simple 3-month minimum commitment. This allows us to deliver a full custom website without any upfront fees. After 3 months, you can continue or cancel with 14 days’ notice.
  • 2. Do I own the website at the end of the subscription?
    Yes — once you’ve completed your 3-month minimum, you get full admin access and ownership of your website. If you cancel before that, all assets remain the property of InkWeb.
  • 3. Can I pause my subscription?
    No, we currently do not offer subscription pauses. Since your website hosting, updates, and support are ongoing, a pause would disrupt your service. You can cancel after 3 months with notice.
  • Can I switch plans later?
    Yes! You can upgrade your plan anytime if your business needs more features, pages, or support. Just contact us, and we’ll help you transition smoothly.
  • How long does it take to build my website?
    Most websites are completed within 7–14 business days from when we receive all your content. Larger or eCommerce sites may take slightly longer. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process.
  • What happens if I stop paying my subscription?
    If your payment fails or your subscription is cancelled before completing the 3-month minimum, your website access will be suspended, and InkWeb will retain ownership of all designs and files. After the 3-month minimum, you're free to cancel with 14 days’ notice and retain full ownership.
  • Do you write the content for my website?
    We ask you to provide your own content (text, images, logos), but we can guide you with prompts and structure. If you need help writing content, we offer copywriting as an optional add-on.
  • Can you redesign my existing website?
    Absolutely. If you already have a website on Wix or Shopify, we can rebuild or refresh it under a subscription plan. We'll still follow the 3-month minimum to cover the setup work.
  • Is my website mobile-friendly?
    Yes. All websites we create are fully responsive and optimised for viewing on smartphones, tablets, and desktops.
  • What if I don’t like the first design?
    No problem — your subscription includes design revisions before launch. We work closely with you and won’t publish your site until you’re happy.
  • Can I use my own designer or developer later on?
    Yes, once you’ve completed your 3-month commitment and we transfer ownership, you’re free to manage your site however you like. You’ll have full admin access and control.
  • 1. Is the domain name included in the subscription?
    Your domain is purchased and owned by you, not included in the plan. We’ll help you register and connect it.
  • 2. Is hosting included?
    We provide full support setting up hosting through Wix or Shopify, but the actual platform subscription is paid by you directly to Wix or Shopify.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
  • 3. What happens if I need major changes or new features?
    Each plan includes update time (e.g., 30 min – 2 hrs/month). For larger requests like redesigns or integrations, we’ll send you a custom quote.
  • 4. Are email accounts included?
    Professional email (e.g., yourname@yourdomain.com) is not included, but we can help you set up Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
  • 5. How does SEO work in my plan?
    All plans come with basic on-page SEO setup. Our Business Growth and E-commerce Pro plans include extra SEO support like blog setup and structure optimisation. Ongoing SEO campaigns can be quoted separately.
